As an author, I meet a lot of people. As a mom with a busy teenager, I meet a LOT of people. One of those people is Beth Elder, a 42 year-old mom of four who is fighting for a future with her family.
Beth was diagnosed with stage four cancer in October. Since then, she has endured hundreds of tests and is now being told she will be on chemo for the rest of her life.
For the rest of her life.
Even as I sit here, I cannot imagine that.
Beth refuses to give up the fight. As a mother and a wife, I understand what drives her to battle for a future with her husband while watching her children live out their dreams.
Given her prognosis, Beth’s fight for a chance at a healthy future now means advanced treatment outside of the U.S. She’s no quitter. She will leave on June 23rd for three weeks of intense treatment. Beth’s medical care, airfare and loss of wages adds up to $50,000.
This is where we can all do a little something that makes a big difference. I strongly believe that we are powerful together. We don’t have to stand by and just feel bad for Beth. We can help!
The smallest aid will mean the world to Beth and her family.
If you would like to help a wife and mother who is determined to see her children experience graduations and weddings and all the other things parents dream of, here are a few ways to do so:
But wait!! I want a chance to show my appreciation. :) This is something I want to do to help Beth and to encourage you to share this with as many people as you can.
If you choose to make a donation (any amount will help), as a way of saying thank you, I will send you a free digital copy of Deadly Odds. Simply forward me your confirmation from Beth’s GoFundMe page showing your donation.
Email the confirmation to firstname.lastname@example.org (please allow me 1-2 days to get the book to you).
As further incentive to get those donations rolling in, I will enter you into a drawing to DEDICATE MY NEXT BOOK TO YOU (Or someone you choose)!! Yep, by making a donation that will not only give a woman hope, your name will live on in my book and you will receive a signed copy from me.
What do you say? Shall we do this thing and save a life? Please email me at email@example.com if you have any questions. It takes seconds to make a difference.
